THE PROJECT

Development of Digital Marketing Strategy and Campaign Management

MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The New Black Studio is a creative events agency based in London and launched in September 2019 by founder, Rebecca Brennan-Brown.

As a new business, increasing visibility and brand awareness is crucial in order to generate leads and revenue. January and February is also a particularly key time for the events industry, and so TNBS approached Rosie Wareham for professional support in:

  • Developing of a clear and actionable digital marketing strategy to support the business in both the short and long term

  • Development of a marketing campaign to generate leads during January and February

The first step was to arrange a face to face strategy and planning meeting which we used to discuss the business in more detail, with particular focus on understanding goals and objectives for the business and key target audiences. From here, we were able to develop a digital marketing strategy which, supported by our discussions and understanding of the business, set out a practical set of actions and recommendations which would allow TNBS to achieve it’s objectives and generate leads with these key target audiences.

The strategy and action plan includes recommendations across a range of areas including: planning a digital launch for 2020, website/SEO, PPC advertising, email marketing, social media and content marketing.

From here we moved onto development of the marketing campaign. Rosie set up a comprehensive PPC campaign and a number of LinkedIn ads, planned to run to the end of February. These are regularly monitored and reviewed to make sure budget is being used effectively.

Rebecca has developed a 6 month content plan for both the website and social media channels which is now supported by in depth keyword research and SEO recommendations to make sure that content is fully optimised to reach the target audience.

WHERE ARE WE NOW

TNBS now has a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to support the business in both the short and long term. This strategy outlines:

  • Business Objectives and goals

  • Current Performance

  • Competitor Analysis

  • Audience personas

  • Content strategy/content plan

  • Digital Marketing Action Plan

High quality, relevant content is being published via both the website and social media channels, which alongside a PPC campaign and paid LinkedIn advertising has generated a significant increase in website traffic, brand awareness and a number of promising leads.

Regular review, management and communication between Rebecca and Rosie means we can refine, tweak and improve things as we learn more about what is most effective with the audience!
